The artwork used as inspiration for this piece delved into the intricate cutting details found in both artists pieces. Going into this project, I knew I wanted to feature detailed elements that created texture and flow. I felt partially inspired by Dyrlaga's piece and her ability to create cohesive flow on a microscopic level. My second piece of inspiration was made by Shibata. I found the particular shape of this piece very compelling and new. I wanted to follow this shape in my mountainscape.
